About me - Your online Personal Trainer
I started windsurfing in 1997 and almost became a pro in the discipline of Freestyle until my parents decided to push me into a normal job. I had years where I barely managed to hit the water. But I always made sure I made my moves, I have on lock, on the first try. I maintained that level because I always worked out in the gym, have been a trainer since 2009 and an Online Personal Trainer since 2016. And since I put all my focus on increasing the performance on the water, me and my clients are able to learn new moves, once we put our foot on that board. I learned that a gym is not required to become a better surfer. Doesn’t matter if you are a Windsurfer, Surfer, Wingfoiler or Kitesurfer. And it works for the weekend warrior as it works for the pro athlete. And even if you never thought about stepping on a board, I can make sure, you will enjoy life even more.
I’ve been a full time firefighter for over 10 years. Yes, it’s awesome to help people and I still have the highest respect for those guys who are running into burning buildings. But I always felt, I was meant for something different.
And here we go...
I’ve found a combination in my two biggest passions. Being an Oceanlover and Online Personal Trainer all at once.
When I’m not helping my clients and athletes bringing out their best, I travel to big Windsurf and Wingfoilevents to give workshops, speeches or trainings for the athletes and the audience.
In my spare time I love to spend time with my family or be on/at the water. My wife and my two kids don’t surf yet, so I know the struggle about missing a big day because of other family events. But my family knows the opposite as well ;)
If you see me at a surfspot or at an event. Please make sure to come by and throw a shaka. I love to stay in a close relationship with the surf community.
Take care
I see you on the water

What do you love the most on your job?
I’m not able to surf daily, but I love to be close with my clients and athletes. I really enjoy hearing stories of my clients surfing and improving each session.
But even when the the people don't tell me about their newest move, they just landed because of their increased fitness level, I really enjoy their progress and how they move and feel better.
What do you like to do besides surfing?
